Weekly Contributor at USA Today

As I mentioned in my previous post, I am obsessed with The Walking Dead. You might be wondering why a romance writer is enthralled with a show about zombies. Well, it’s not really about the walkers. The show is all about relationships and humanity. More specifically, can we retain our humanity in the face of pure evil and horror?

I mentioned my obsession to Joyce Lamb at the HEA Blog on USA Today and asked if perhaps I could contribute. Her answer was YES!

I’m going to be a weekly contributor on the HEA Blog at USA TODAY. I’ll be recapping the Season 6 episodes of The Walking Dead and focusing on the romances that are brewing! Too bad Michael Rooker is no longer on the show. It would have been great to see Merle emerge into a true hero and find his own heroine–though she would probably have been a Miss Right Now not a Ms. Right.

I’m hoping that Daryl (Norman Reedus) and Carol (Melissa McBride) will finally connect.

Although, I suspect that the Rick and Jessie romance will be the focus. By the way, that haircut scene in Season 5 was fantastic. Rife with sexual tension. Just delicious.

There are never real Happily Ever Afters on The Walking Dead but there are Happily-Ever-After-For-Nows. ?
