Happy St. Patrick’s Day

Happy St. Paddy’s Day, my friends! Today is a special day in my family because it’s the day my parents met and if it weren’t for the two of them…well…you know how that goes.

My mother has always said she and my dad have the luck of the Irish. So when I wrote Declan and Maggie’s book, while not at all similar to my parent’s story, I wanted to pay homage to my mom and dad. While my parents may not be supernatural, their love has a magic all its own.

They met on a snowy St. Patrick’s Day in 1967 in New York City and have been together ever since. Their love and devotion to each other is inspiring. The family they have created and nurtured with unconditional love, is one I am most grateful to be a part of.
