T-Minus One Week to Daytona

I’ve been buried in writing, family, and deadlines–as usual. Time has gotten away from me and I almost choked when I saw the date on the calendar. I can’t believe that January is almost over. Huh? Wasn’t it just Christmas? I kept thinking that I had all this time before the Coastal Magic Convention in February…not so much…I leave a week from today.

At first I panicked.

Let’s be honest, the idea of donning a bathing suit right now is not appealing.

Not. At. All.

Aside from my pasty white complexion, I’ve got that extra winter layer. You know what I mean, right? At any rate, I put my bathing suit phobias aside and checked the weather in Daytona. The 10 day forecast made me smile because it’s going to be around seventy degrees and sunny. I almost wept with relief because here in NY, like most of the country, it’s been cold, snowy, and gross.

Aside from looking forward to chatting with romance readers and writers, I’m psyched to be someplace that doesn’t exist within a polar vortex.

Off to write some more and pack–I’m still not sure if that includes a bathing suit.

  1. I have read Amoveo series as far as it went but it seemed like it was not finished. Please tell me when to expect the next book in the series. Hopefully there ar many more. I love it. Thanks

  2. Hi Debra! I’m so happy that you’re enjoying the Amoveo series! I’m working on an Amoveo Legend novella now. UNBOUND is Zachary’s story and it will be released December 2014. After that I’m planning on at least two more books in the series, one of which will be Steven’s book. To be quite honest, my agent is in talks with my publisher about that at the moment. So, yes. There will be more. In the meantime, there will be four more Dead in the City books and three or four more books in the Princes of Hell series as well.
    Happy Reading!!!
