A Small Victory

This will be a short post because, like all of you, I’m busy with holiday mayhem. However, I had a small victory today that I wanted to share. I made sugar cookies from scratch and didn’t burn a single one.

Seriously. Not one.

This may not seem like a big deal to most people but for the the culinary challenged like me, it’s kind of awesome. I know it’s not the solution to world peace or the cure for cancer. In the grand scheme of life it’s insignificant. I realize all of that is true. I still wanted to recognize this tiny victory because so often, we can focus on bad stuff. So why not celebrate the good? No matter how small.

May your cookies be warm, unburned, and tasty!

Dream on….
Sara

  1. I’ve found that cookies are incredibly easy to burn, timing has to be perfect, a few seconds can make all the difference. I’m happy for you and Merry Christmas to you!
